I am interested to explore more on GDPR

Are you a Global Multinational with a presence in the European Union? Then it is time you get ready for the GDPR era. Well, GDPR applies not only to data within the EU, but extends to all businesses that hold data about EU citizens, even outside the EU…

Gartner predicts that even by the end of 2018, more than 50 percent of companies affected by GDPR will not be in full compliance with its requirements. But, did you know a breach can leave a huge hole in your pocket?

The GDPR Act says,

  • IF you are an organization with 10 or more employees in Europe – You are under compliance radar
  • GDPR breaches can result in a fine of € 10M or 2% of a company’s annual revenues – whichever is greater in certain cases
  • Serious breaches could result in a fine that is the greater of € 20M or 4% of a company’s annual revenues
  • In extreme cases, Data Protection Authority can impose a complete ban on data processing operations by an organization.

Prepare for the impact that the EU’s upcoming General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is likely to have on the way employee personal information is collected, managed and stored.
